Global trail love

Trail Run se ve MUY bien!  – comment on a Spanish website…

How’s your Spanish? Or your Polish, Japanese, French, German, Swedish and yes Scottish, Queen’s (English) and even Canglish (Canadian English) and United Stinglish (American English)?

Seems that while Trail Run Mag is all about trail running in Australia and New Zealand (and Aussie and Kiwi trail runners caning it up north), the rest of the world is interested. We’ve had emails and subscribers signing on from all over the place – a totally unexpected result and one that shows just how many people are turning to trail and how starved they are for good trail content to consume in between forest forays!

I left my Spanish skills back in South America along with my youth, so if anyone can translate regarding that Spanish plug for TRM:

I reckon they like us though, as does Mud Sweat & Tears, a great trail site out of the UK and AdventureBlog, an all adventure site out of the States that covers trail.

So it seems Trail Run Mag is part of a growing global community of trail publishers, one that is excited about the potential of running in the Southern Hemisphere – watch out, our trails may just be overrun soon with accents from across the globe, spurred on by these itinerant web readers. We’re trail runners – we love the solitude – but we also like to share the dirty love, so the influx is okay, eh?

And if you happen to be travelling to the north, and want to get dirty while overseas, be sure to check into our northern hemisphere cousins in trail coverage:

Mud Sweat and Tears  (UK)

Trail (German)

Go Trail (South Africa)

Trail Runner (US)

Trail Running (UK)

And in the meantime, if you haven’t already, check out our Ed01, tell your friends and tell us about any epic trail runs you’ve been on recently.

About trailrunmag

We're a dirty little mag. A dirty, dirty, filthy mag...About running. Off road, on trail, off piste, on earth. Trail Run Magazine is Australasia's only magazine entirely devoted to the dirty art of trail running. Through forests, up mountains, across long as it's wild and dirty and there's scant hint of boring bitumen, we'll cover it. You want to know who's running up what mountain, who's winning which extreme event, what's the best short trail run just outside your town, what supplement will see you through that 100 kay killer, how to set up a training plan for the 4 Deserts you reckon you'll conquer next year, and what's the best pair of runners to tackle the TNF100? You'll want to subscribe to Trail Run magazine then... Go on, get dirty.
